He won the award for best spoken word for an audio book called The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream. This is his second Grammy. He won his first in '06 for a memoir called Dreams from my father.
Sorry my republican friends, you might have to bow down to the Obamanator.
And on a completely random note...the writers strike is over!!!!!!!! We can have our TV shows back. HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

This will be an interesting election. A senator elected because his oponent had a sex scandal and has not been well received in Washington but is hollywood likeable versus a senator who has ruled Washington and has all the experience and very few (if any) scandals in his past but is old and very un-hollywood...
Slightly off topic, but I would not want to be in the secret service right now. I think that they will unfortunately have their hands full with protecting the democratic candidates. I really hope that I am wrong... but I doubt it.
