On Wednesday, I was so excited. It was the day I was going to get my salon equipment for my salon room in Morgan, Utah. It would be a long drive, but worth it. I arranged for Cade to stay at my father in laws. (pa was alone because jeanne was in Virginia) Natale (joe's sister) was over at pa's house with her three kids. So I set off on my journey up north and just as we pulled up to our destination, the phone rang. It was Natale. Her voice sounded a little panicked. She said that Cade fell off a coffee table and cut his head open. She was sure he needed stitches. So Ron and Natale packed Cadester in the car and took him to my pediatrician. He ended up with two staples. She said he did really well and only cried when they put in the staples.
I was a little sad that I wasn't there for him but glad at the same time that I didn't have to see him cry. By the time I got home he was totally over it. Although he still thinks he is bleeding everywhere. :) I do get to take him back this Wed to get them off. That should be fun. I have a feeling this will be the first of many staples, stitches and casts!
The story does end well though. I did get all my salon equipment and I am so excited to get my room finished so I can start using it!!
here are some gory pictures of the staples. For your viewing pleasure. :)
You can see the greasy patch from the neosporin on the staples.

Oh man that looks like it hurts. I have never had to take a kid in for stitches, or anything. I am not excited for that first time. Hope he is ok getting them out. He must be a tough little guy.
yikes! I just dread all this stuff. I am sure I have many more years of things of this sort ahead of me too. So far only Brayden with stitches though. ALready Chase is a CRAZY climber though, I am in for it between Brayden and Chase. I am glad Cade took it so well and you had in good hands with people who could take him to the doctor.
EWWWWW! Poor baby!
