We spent the day at Gardner Village last week when my sister Marci and her two girls were in town visiting. And my mom came too. We had so much fun. I had never been there before ( I know, it's strange I've never gone) They had all their witches out around all the shops dressed differently and in cute poses. It was fun to find each one. We also stopped at Tai Pan Trading on the way there. I love that store.

Meanwhile, the house hunt is still continuing. We have had a fun time driving all the streets of each city spotting for sale signs and calling realtors. (not) But we're not giving up yet.
Also we are not doing a very good job of preparing for Halloween. I still don't have a costume for Cade. I know, I know, Halloween is in approx 5 business days but I haven't found anything I like. Hopefully I can come up with something good. But don't count on it. I'm feeling a little bah humbug. Geez, it's my first kid and I am already struggling! :)

They opened up one of those decor stores in ontario and I went and I loved it. I bought some cute things! Cade is so big!
I wish I could have gone to Gardner Vilage with you guys! It was so fun to see you all!!
Hmmm.... I wonder what little boy stuff i have. Finn was a cute skeleton once. Ryan (my brother) has a son that was a hip hop/rapper guy at about Cade's age that was stinking cute.
My kids are at the age where they want to choose their own costume but it is silly so I have to try to convince them that my idea is better... :) Good Luck.
I love Gardner village. If you eat in the restaurant there are tables with pictures of all his wives. No joke, each wife has her own table. Well, when my mom and I go there, we sit and eat at our relatives table. Yes you heard me, I am related to one of his many wives. Oh Archibald Gardner you funny guy. My mom and I laugh when we look at her picture.
I am too lazy to go in the attic to find Matthews costume, poor kid.
Do the Mexican thing again. That costume was timeless.
I really should have been leaving comments for a while now...I must admit, I've been lurking...but this post has brought back memories for me. My great-great grandfather was Archibald Gardner...so every year when we would go visit family in Utah we would go by Gardner Village...it's such a neat place.

looks like you had fun! Don't worry about the bah humbug thing, it's gets easier as they get older and can pick out their own costumes. Vance is being a vampire this year, totally easy!!!
WUZZZZZ up!!!! Don't worry Cade wrap a towel around his head and he can be a taliban! Then next year he can be a chinese guy and the next year an Indian :)
That was really fun! Cade will be cute in that bat costume!!
What did your little bug end up being for halloween? Did you love my costume... ha ha :)
