It has been awhile since we've posted about Cade. He is 21 months old and there is definitely never a dull moment at our house. Here are some things he is into lately:
Trains. He eats sleeps and lives for trains. His food is a train. Anything that is arranged in a line is considered a "train".
Talking. Cade is constantly talking. Some things we can understand, others...we just answer "yes" to. He LOVES to say hello to EVERYONE at the store. And if they don't say hello back he will keep saying hello until he is answered.
"Nie". He has discovered that things can be "scary". Basically our response has been "no, it's nice". So he repeats over and over "nie? nie mommy? nie?"
Eating. Hungry. All the time. Cade always wants to eat. His favorites include: cheese, juice (which he calls "jew"), raisins, quesadilla ("deeah"), and pizza ("peepa"). And he likes sips of Coke but don't tell anyone. :)
"Umm.." Yesterday I asked him if he wanted a cracker and he said "umm..." and then later I asked him where is shoes were and again, "umm". I didn't think I said that too much but I guess I do. :)
And one more thing. Cade has been mistaken for a girl about 5 times now. Must be the "long" hair. It's too cute, I can't cut it.
He's a crack up. We love him to pieces.

That's sooo cute! Bailee used to do the same thing when she was around his age...(the saying 'hello' to everyone)
He is so stinkin cute too!! Those two pictures at the top just made me smile. I am glad he is doing so good. miss you guys!
He is so cute! I can't believe he is almost 2! I love when they are learning to talk and they say such cute stuff! My boys, well Tyler and Finn as babies, were ALWAYS mistaken for girls. I just couldn't cut the long hair either. :)
awww , that makes me miss him so much more. i love his hair!
Motherhood is the best, isn't it? But just wait until you are a grandma. Really, just wait, it gets even better. Just ask your mom. I am sure she is loving her some Cade like you wouldn't believe!
:( I miss that big headed cutie!! I just remember all those kisses he gave me!! I love how he talks so much! He cracks me up!
Aaah. he's too cute!
I think Grandpa Mike is going to pass the love of trains onto all of is grandsons. One visit with Gpa and Jackson was hooked on trains for a couple years. Now it is just star wars everything. Matthew loves that train Cade has. I love how it just goes in circles.
That is awesome! I can't believe how much he is talking! I guess they really do grow up so fast!
I love the long hair too. Noah's long curls were to die for. Yes, I said 'were.' After three people mistook him for a girl in one week, we took the plunge and cut the curls. It took awhile, but I'm liking the new look now.
